We are only human
In our words we are saviors, capable of touching the hearts and minds of others. In art we are storytellers, capable of assuming the protagonists role and the narrator’s voice. In our lives we are the leader, “the masters of our fate.”
Our lives vary in mode and kind. Different hearts and minds spark different lines of life. We are entitled to our opinions. And yet some walk the road less traveled and for them “it has made all the difference.”
The craziest thoughts, the farthest thinkers, they think thoughts other’s thought not to think. Exploring outside the box helps us unlock the future that lives there. We see more with no walls standing to blind us. It’s a journey to find “the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn…”
People have their stories and it’s inspiring to be able to hear those. Asking “why” gives us a look into others lives with a 3rd eye towards empathy. Please, put me in your shoes… When I grow up I want to be just like you. But remember to “be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”
Every thought and action expressed by our hearts show parts of who we are. Most live lives but don’t act all the time in accordance to what others see with their eyes. We are simultaneously brutally honest and pathological liars. We know, deep inside you do too, that “there’s no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
We are only human right?
